UPDATE on potential 1 overall pick Matvei Michkov INJURY
The only name that is rivalling Conor Bedard for the #1 spot in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft is Russian prospect Matvei Michkov. This kid is labeled as the next Ovechkin with the way he scores goals.
Earlier today he took a huge hit from former NHL defenceman Alexei Emelin, which was a clean check, but caused Michkov's knee to bend and he was forced to leave the game with an injury.
