It's been a crazy Playoffs for many of the team's and goalies so far, many teams are currently going with their second or third goaltender right now. This includes the series between the Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche.

For the Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros was injured before the playoffs with a high ankle sprain and for the Avalanche who many believe are odds favourite to win the Stanley cup, lost goaltender Darcy Kuemper who left game 3 after taking a stick to the eye, accidentally from Predators Ryan Johansson.
The Avalanche are hoping to be the first team to advance to 3-0 in a series with a win tonight. So far no the Avalanche have out scored the Predators 16-6 in the series.
Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar revealed that goaltender Darcy Kuemper isn't ready to go tonight, so the Avalanche will go with backup Pavel Francouz .The Avalanche have also recalled goaltender Justus Annunen from their American Hockey League affiliate to serve as backup.

Jared Bednar explained that while Kuemper is doing fine, there is still a bit too much swelling around his eye. Given the fact that Colorado is in firm control of the series, starting Francouz tonight in net shouldn't cause too much of a momentum change in the series.
