BREAKING: Ottawa Senators fire Pierre McGuire!
Less than 1 year into his contract with the Ottawa Senators as senior vice president of player development it has been reported that Pierre McGuire has been fired by the Senators.

Finishing 2nd last in the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division it was an underwhelming year for the Senators and their fans, which likely caused McGuire's ousting.
McGuire arrived at the Senators in what has been a long and varied career in hockey as both a broadcaster and member of team management. His stint with the Sens followed a job at NBC sports as a colour-commentator.
McGuire has also worked as a college coach, a NHL scout, assistant coach, assistant GM, and head coach, and broadcaster for the Montreal Canadiens and TSN.
Time will tell where McGuire goes after his time in Ottawa.
