In what should I've been a special day for Ottawa Senators Tyler Ennis, playing in his 700th game but he was injured by Detroit Red Wings Gustav Lindstrom.
The incident happened during the second period with the Senators leading 2-1. Senators Forward Tyler Ennis was behind the Red Wings net, when he received a cross check from Lindstrom from behind, knocking out of the game.
The Senators would announce after that Ennis season is now over and no penalty was called on the play but the NHL department of Player safety will likely review it afterwards.
