Teammates of Connor McDavid Reveal What their Captain Said After Playoff Elimination
The Edmonton Oilers had the wind in its sails. Before they were eliminated, a lot of people thought that they were solid Stanley Cup contenders.
But the Vegas Golden Knights caused a surprise by beating them in six games at the second round.
A teammate of McDavid's, whose identity remained undisclosed, told NHL.com that following the disappointing loss in Game 6, McDavid delivered an emotional speech to the team.
The anonymous Oiler player shared that his teammates felt ready to "run through a wall for the guy," after the captain's speech.
We can't wait to see what he'll do next season.
