With the NHL 2023 trade deadline fast approaching, we were hoping that when Bo Horvat got traded last week that it would kick start the trade frenzy, but we were sadly disappointed.
We did however get a trade last night between the San Jose Sharks and the Seattle Kraken.
Two teams moving in opposite directions as the Kraken have emerged as one of the top teams in the West this year and the Sharks are looking to completely rebuild the organization.
Last night the Kraken made a trade for some defensive depth and brought in Jaycob Megna from the Sharks:
The #SJSharks have acquired a fourth-round pick from Seattle in exchange for defenseman Jaycob Megna.
This is Megna's first full time season in the NHL and so far this season he has 1 goal and 12 points in 48 games.
