SHOCKING details emerge regarding referee who got physically AGGRESSIVE with Michael Bunting

Last night during the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning game, we saw a referee get a little too aggressive with Maple Leafs Michael Bunting when he was trying to escort him off the ice.
It turns out, this referee is a former player and has a little bit of history with some of the Maple Leafs players:
Back in 2016, when referee Dan Kelly was playing in the AHL for the Albany Devils, in the playoffs he landed a very dirty his on Maple Leafs prospect Andreas Johnsson.
After the game, Bunting was asked about the situation, he didn't seem to mind it too much:
I think emotions were high and it's hockey and you move on from it. It's not really that big of a deal.
