Tonight in a game between the Nashville Predators and Philadelphia Flyers, Predators defenceman Mark Borowiecki suffered a horrible injury. Borowiecki was hit by Flyers forward Morgan Frost along the boards and looks to have hit his face hard on the dasher boards. For several minutes, Borowiecki was laying motionless on the ice before eventually being loaded onto a stretcher. In a great show of sportsmanship all the players from both benches went onto the ice to give borowiecki a salute as he was getting wheeled off. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/HockeyNewsHub/status/1583999920318861312?t=BEDN59diQ4b84r6x1I79Ew&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/PredsOnBally/status/1584000114984558593?t=cF89KNlybThxNtYhMvCDRA&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <blockquote class=twitter-tweet><p lang=en dir=ltr>Here's the Borowiecki hit. <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/Preds?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#Preds</a> <a href=https://t.co/wKUHoLeYV8>pic.twitter.com/wKUHoLeYV8</a>— Nick Kieser (@KieserNick) <a href=https://twitter.com/KieserNick/status/1583994667443531776?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>October 23, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src=https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js charset=utf-8>
