Referee's lose control of playoff game and decide to END it early

Last night the Boston Bruins hosted the Florida Panthers in game two of their best of seven, with the Bruins at the time holding a 1-0 series lead.
The Bruins were hoping to take a 2-0 series lead, but the Panthers would not allow it as they put on a clinic in the third period and defeated the Bruins 6-3.
Despite all the scoring, the third period got a little out of control, and saw multiple players from both teams get ejected from the game.
A total of 7 players in the final 2 minutes got ejected from the game, and the referee's began losing control.
Players are passionate and fights do tend to happen quite a bit in a playoff game, and with time running out, players want to set the tone for the next game and let the other team know that it's going to be a battle.
With only 3 seconds left on the clock last game, it got so out of hand that the referee's just called the game:
