One of the busiest General Managers at the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline was Toronto Maple Leafs Kyle Dubas.
Dubas is on the hot seat this season, and without a contract for next year, he is feeling the pressure to get some playoff success this season.
Under that pressure, Dubas took some big swings at the deadline and brought in Ryan O'Reilly, Sam Lefferty, Noel Accairi, Erik Gustaffson and
Jake McCabe.
The tough thing though, is they've already been losing players due to injury. Ryan O'Reilly suffered a broken finger and is expected to miss a few weeks. Noel Accairi, has been out since Nreceiving a dangerous hit to the head by Jesse Puljujarvi.
The good news is though, Accairi is back and skating and taking part in practice in full gear:
Another player that could be of use to the Maple Leafs, who was expected to miss the remainder of the season due to injury is Nick Robertson. The youngster was seen skating today, which is a great sign in his recovery:
