REPORT: Prospect put on WAIVERS for the purpose of contract TERMINATION
It's been an exciting few days when it comes to the waiver wire. We saw over 70 players placed on waivers now and saw some big names get put through and quite a few players claimed, including a goalie who was claimed not once but twice!
The Philadelphia Flyers are looking to rebound from the horrific season they had last year and hope that it was just due to injuries, but they've hired a new coach to lead the team to glory.
John Tortorella has been preaching accountability and effort with the team and that the team needs to earn some respect, claiming right now that the league gives the Flyers no respect.
It was announced today that the team is placing Linus Sandin on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.

Sandin was signed by the team back on April 29, 2020, and got into one game last season with the Flyers last season.
The 26 year old played the majority of the last two seasons in the AHL, where he put up some decent stats, but it looks like his time in the NHL might be over.
