The Toronto Maple Leafs on paper have one of the most talented teams in the league, but when it comes to the playoffs, they just fall flat on their face year after year.

This has not just been in the Dubas era, but with multiple General Managers for over 18 years now.

While Dubas' Maple Leafs have not found any success in the playoffs, he has put together a very offensively gifted team that has found very good regular season success. Despite the regular season success, Dubas is often criticized for his inability to add scoring depth and to find a reliable top tier defenceman.
