Back in April of 2014, the Toronto Maple Leafs brought in Hockey Hall of Famer Brendan Shanahan to take the Maple Leafs in a new direction and change the culture of the team.

Shanahan was quick to make changes and it all started with hiring Mike Babcock. They got lucky in 2015 getting to draft Mitch Marner 4th overall, and even luckier in 2015 when they won the draft lottery to select Auston Matthews first overall.
Even with bringing in some elite talent and making a culture change, the Maple Leafs have yet to have any playoff success, and this has both Brendan Shanahan and Kyle Dubas on the hot seat.
With the culture change, apparently that has now made it forbidden for the Maple Leafs to have ''a little fun'' in the locker room. It's being reported by Hockey Illuminati on TikTok that Shanahan has implemented some specific rules in the locker room.
Apparently Shanahan has banned the Maple Leafs from having Beer in the locker room.

While this doesn't sound like an awful thing, even though it is nice to enjoy a cold beer after a victory, we've seen in the past some pretty epic celebrations after some players hit a milestone.
Here is the team enjoying a nice cold one to celebrate Steven Stamkos hitting 1000 career points:
While, when Mitch Marner set a franchise record for a point streak, the team celebrated with ........ water.
