Last night it was the Arizona Coyotes home opening game in their new arena and well, besides the change room debacle and the fact that not even the goal horn worked, there was another interesting situation that happened.
Jakob Chychrun was the Coyotes first round pick back in 2016 and after 337 games in a Coyotes uniform, Chychrun officially requested a trade this offseason.
Chychrun wants to be part of a playoff contending team, and while the Arizona Coyotes have had some big draft picks these last few years, they are still far from making the playoffs.
The Coyotes announced their rosters last night, and when they got to Jakob Chychrun, who is currently injured, the fans in the 5000 seat arena started to boo!
