John Scott reveals FUNNY conversation with Brendan Shanahan after fight with Phil Kessel
Everyone knows who John Scott is, he is a F*cking All-star!
One of the funniest moments I remember of John Scott is his ''fight'' with Phil Kessel, where Kessel tried to chop him up with his stick like Scott was a piece of firewood.
On this Podcast 'Dropping the Gloves' Scott spoke about one of his favourite moments, which was his fight with Kessel where everyone got suspended but him.
During his days he started off as a defenceman, and turned into a fighter. In the game against the Maple Leafs, Scott warned Kessel that he was going to jump him, and that resulted in a full out brawl.
The Head of Player Safety at the time was Brendan Shanahan, who racked up quite a few PIM's in his day, and he told Scott that he wanted to suspend him, but apparently there was nothing wrong with what Scott did.
