After yesterday's comeback victory for the Tampa Bay Lightning, they now trail the New York Rangers 2-1 in the series.
The Edmonton Oilers are currently down 3-0 to the Colorado Avalanche and could be playing their final game this season tonight if they don't get their act together.
A scary stat was posted by NHL's Public Relation's Twitter page the other day, and just judging by stats alone, this does not bode well for the Tampa Bay Lightning and even WORSE for the Edmonton Oilers.
There have been seven instances in NHL history of a team overcoming a 2-0 series deficit to win a Conference Finals/Semifinals.
The most-recent club to do so went on to capture the #StanleyCup that year.
Through all the years of the NHL, through all the playoff series' coming back from 2-0 in a Conference Finals has only happed seven times.
Will someone this year make it 8?
