Last night the Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs were in a winner take all game 7 battle, which ended with a Tampa Bay Lightning victory, but we need to ask, why did this goal count? Why was there no penalty?
In a game that saw John Tavares have a disallowed goal because of an interference call, Tampa Bay Lightning's Alex Killorn would pull the stick out the hands of Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin causing Nick Paul the space he need to come in and score on Jack Campbell to take a 2-1 lead.
This would ultimately be the series winning goal and it's driving Maple Leaf fans crazy! What if that was a penalty to Alex Killorn? This game and series could have had a different outcome.
