In Quebec's major-junior hockey league, Shawinigan's Lou-Félix Denis has been suspended five game after allegedly targeting Russian player Evgenii Kashnikov with an inappropriate comment during a game.

We have stated this many times but this is something that cannot begin to happen to Russian players who are in North America just playing hockey. They do not have any say in the politics that go on in their country.
Should the QMJHL have made more of a statement with this and given Denis a larger suspension?
