Scout Links Kessel with Surprising Team
Phil Kessel, who recently won his third Stanley Cup in Vegas, still hasn't signed a contract for next season. There's still time, but we sure hope to see him reach a deal.
Here's what was published on Twitter, revealing the perfect destination for Kessel:
"Trying to figure out what's next for Phil Kessel, and I can't stop thinking about Seattle. They're already a very complete team, but they could use a bit more offense.
Could he be the first player to play for both Vegas and Seattle?"
The Kraken could definitely use a veteran like Kessel in their lineup
Kessel with the Kraken?
Even at 35, Kessel can still bring a lot to a team. Last season, he scored 36 points with the Golden Knights. It's not as much as his glory days, but it's good enough, especially if he signs for something close to the NHL's minimum wage.
Kessel probably wants to come back. He's only eight points from the 1000-points milestone.
Do you think he'll reach it?
