Pete Deboer Speaks On Jamie Benn's Return From Suspension
The Dallas Stars seemed to be in a tough position after suffering a loss in game three to the Vegas Golden Knights, compounded by the loss of their captain, Jamie Benn. Benn was suspended for two games following an incident where he heavily cross-checked Mark Stone.
Benn Returns
However, the Stars have not yet been defeated. They've won two subsequent games, pushing the series into game six, which will be held in Dallas. Even more promising is the fact that Benn will be returning to the lineup.
Stars head coach, Pete DeBoer, spoke to the media about Benn's return, highlighting the positive impact it will have on the team.
"It's a good thing to have," DeBoer said. "He's like an angry bear walking around, waiting to play again. I think he was on pins and needles. He's been sitting with our video coaches, watching the games. He's not a great spectator, so I believe he'll be eager to play."
Game 6 Should Be A Banger
For Stars fans, Benn's return is certainly good news. With him back in the lineup, the Stars could potentially win game six in Dallas and push the series to a deciding game seven in Vegas.
Jamie Benn is coming back for Game 6 coming off of two elimination wins for the Stars.
As Dallas looks to force a Game 7, who draws out of the lineup?
