There's nothing we hate in hockey more than when the officiating plays a larger part in the games than they should.
We have seen some crazy calls in these playoffs and it's drawing the frustration of many players including Tampa bay Lightning forward Pat Maroon., who criticized the officiating for giving 11 power plays between the two teams in a very crucial game five of a tied series.
When asked about the Officials Maroon would simply say:
"It feels like pre season"
Maroon was asked if the Lightning could come back in this series? Maroon would also say:
"This series isn't over yet. We still have alot of life. Lot of hockey to be played."
The Lightning looked liked they had a commanding lead over the Leafs when it was 2-0 but the Leafs battled back. Auston Matthews scored with just under 5 minutes left in the 3rd period to give the Leafs a 4-3 lead that they would hang onto and take a 3-2 series lead over the Lightning.
Game 6 is tomorrow night back in Tampa Bay.
