Bad news for Montreal Canadiens Cole Caufield
Cole Caufield was one of the players who was projected to be the Calder trophy winner this year, but after a slow start to the season, that dream slipped away. The NHL recently released the finalists for the Calder trophy, given annually to the league's top rookie.
The finalists are:
Michael Bunting (Toronto): 63 points
Trevor Zegras (Anaheim): 61 points
Moritz Seider (Detroit): 50 points

Tough break for Caufield, the speedy Canadiens forward who scored 43 points this season and had an excellent 2021 post-season with MTL, helping them get to the Stanley Cup finals, playing in 20 playoff games and contributing 12 points.
Despite the snub look forward to Caufield having an excellent career.
Encore une fois bravo à Cole Caufield pour le premier tour du chapeau de sa carrière!
