Connor Bedard has had the spotlight on him nonstop for the past three years, and with the NHL Entry Draft rapidly approaching, he is sure to go 1st overall. Despite his immense popularity, Bedard's recent comments have rubbed some fans the wrong way.
Fans Not Happy With Bedard's Comments on Chicago
Many fans were angry and disappointed when Chicago won the NHL draft lottery, citing the organizations' scandals in recent years as sufficient reason for them to not get the right to pick Bedard.
Bedard of course, has not made any negative statements toward the Blackhawks publicly, instead making rather vague and neutral statements when asked about the prospects of him going 1st overall to Chicago. Despite this seemingly harmless approach, fans have taken issue with the young phenom.
