NFL player drills fans who ran on field for gender reveal
After the Seahawks released Bobby Wagner last year, a lot of people thought his best years were behind him and he would fade acrimoniously into retirement.
But the Super Bowl champion and 3-time league leader in tackles joined the defending SB champion LA Rams this off-season and showed he is still able to make big hits.
When an animal rights activist ran onto the field on Monday Night Football's showdown between division rivals Rams and 49s Wagner stepped in to help the hapless security guards trying to restrain the streaker.

He looked like he wasn't supposed to be on the field, Wagner told reporters after the game. I saw security was having a little problem – so I helped him out.
Former NFL quarterbacks and current ESPN commentators Payton and Eli Manning also enjoyed Wagner's tackle, not coming at them for once.

Peyton laughed as he watched a replay of the incident:
That's what we're talking about. Wagner, a veteran. Get him down, now get out and let the guys takeover. Bobby Wagner, a veteran play.
Animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere took responsibility, explaining the protester was trying to raise awareness of 'Right to Rescue,' an affiliate organization that looks to «help the whistleblowers facing prison time for exposing factory farm abuses and rescuing suffering animals.»
RELEASED: Alex and Allison, the 2 activists who disrupted tonight's NFL game, have been released from police custody. Alex, who was tackled by Bobby Wagner, has a burn on his arm.
