More bad news for Toronto Maple Leafs goaltending situation
When the trade deadline was looming, one of the big question marks for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization was if they were going to try and acquire a new goalie. With Campbell hurt and Mrazek playing poorly, it was definitely one of the biggest needs on the team.
Didnt see anything that could explain an injury but Mrazek hobbled off, suggesting something with his leg or foot. pic.twitter.com/DjeobU9vDc— alberto (@twistedleafs) March 29, 2022
Now weeks after, the Leafs did not acquire a new goalie and now with Mrazek and Campbell both hurt, the Leafs will be using Kallgren & Hutchinson as their starting goalies.
Mrazek looks like he'll be out a minimum of six weeks, per Keefe.— Mike Stephens (@mikeystephens81) March 31, 2022
The good news for the Maple Leafs is Jack Campbell has been cleared for return, but we do not know when he will return to game play.
Petr Mrazek is done for the regular season.
The Leafs expect him to miss a minimum of six weeks.
