Matt Duchene loses part of his finger blocking a shot

Back on March 26th, the Nashville Predators were hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs, in what finished as a 3-2 win for the visiting Maple Leafs.
The Predators are desperately trying to make the playoffs, and a player on the Preds paid the ultimate price during the game, really taking a shot for the team, unfortunately it was a shot from his own team!
Matt Duchene who is not known for his shot blocking, blocked a shot with his glove, and immediately skated towards the bench.
It was revealed that the tip of Duchene finger was still in his glove after blocking the shot!
Duchene has not been back in the lineup since that game.
