When asked recently Marc-Andre Fleury had expressed a reluctance to fighting after a recent altercation. Fleury cited his concern about injuring himself, like he'd previously done in Junior Hockey. However, in a game last night, after Jordan Binnington went after Ryan Hartman, who had tapped him after scoring a goal, Fleury charged down the ice to confront Binnington.
Unfortunately, the linesman intervened and prevented Fleury from engaging in a fight. Both Fleury and Binnington received minor penalties for leaving the crease, with Binnington being ejected for his hit on Hartman. The Blues ultimately lost the game 8-5.
