Nothing screams Saturday Night Hockey like watching two original 6 teams square off for battle. The Montreal Canadiens hosted the Toronto Maple Leafs in what early on looked like it may be a blowout with Auston Matthews scoring in the first minute of the game. However, while the shot counter may not say so, the score clock showed it was a back and forth game, which led to this controversial goal that sent Maple Leafs fans into a frenzy.
Byron appears to have tripped Matthews which went uncalled and turned out to be the game winning goal.
