On Friday night, Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson delivered a dangerous hit on Blue Jackets' star Patrik Laine as the game was ending.
"Rasmus Andersson with a dirty hit on Patrik Laine at the buzzer"
The NHL's Department of Player Safety issued a four-game suspension for Andersson.
"Calgary's Rasmus Andersson has been suspended for four games for charging Columbus' Patrik Laine."

Flames Disagree with the Call

According to Eric Francis, an analyst for Sportsnet, the Flames are planning to appeal the NHL's decision.
"Source says the Calgary Flames are planning to appeal the four-game suspension handed to Rasmus Andersson today for his hit on Patrik Laine."
If they do decide to appeal, the NHL Players Association will need to review the case before the NHL does. Then, if approved, the suspension could remain at four games or be reduced.
As of now, Andersson is set to miss the next four games, including the Heritage Classic on October 29th against Edmonton.
He will be eligible to return on November 1st, when the Flames are scheduled to play the Dallas Stars.
Do you agree with Andersson's four-game suspension?
