Junior league coach gives best quote all time during press conference
The Canadian hockey junior leagues winners are currently battling in the Memorial Cup, which every junior team/player dreams of playing.
This year the host team are the Saint John Sea Dogs and on Saturday they defeated the Shawinigan Cataractes to lock up first place in the round robin and get a bye to the championship final.
During the post-game press conference, Saint John's head coach Gardiner MacDougall gave one of the best quotes ever!
While giving a passionate speech about the home crowd and momentum being on the side of the Sea Dogs, MacDougall's phone starting ringing and he gave a hilarious answer:
"We all have special ladies in our lives. Our grandmothers, out mothers, our wives, I have a daughter, I have sisters, but the key to success tonight was a lady called Lady 'Mo. Mrs. Lady Momentum. Sometimes she's hard to find. You don't know how long she's going to stay with you. We're lucky tonight that we found her and she stayed with us for a while and full credit to the crowd for introducing 'Mo to our team."
