Nicholas Johnson of the Stony Plain Flyers entered the crowd to fight a fan who had allegedly pushed his mother. The incident took place January 21st in a CJHL game between the Flyers and the Strathcona Bruins.
Johnson has been suspended 8 games for the incident.
Good for Johnson doing his best to protect his mother as I'm sure almost any player would do the same to protect family.
