This past summer the Montreal Canadiens shocked the hockey world when they passed on projected 1st overall pick Shane Wright and instead took the power forward Slovakian Juraj Slafkovsky.
Last night the Montreal Canadiens rookies played against the Buffalo sabres rookies, and it looks like the Habs players knew their role, and that was to protect Juraj Slafkovsky.
During the game, one of the Sabres players managed to land a big hit, which hardly budged the 238lb Slovakian, but Habs Lucas Condotta knew what was expected of him and went to fight this player to defend the Canadiens top prospect.
