Brendan Gallagher has been a part of the Montreal Canadiens which seems like forever. After being drafted in the 5th round 147th overall in the 2010 draft, Gallagher made his NHL debut in 2012.
Since then he has played in 612 games for the Habs, putting up 367 points. He has fit in well and has developed into one of those hard nose players that every team would love to have on their roster, despite being only 5.09 in height!
Montreal has been his home for over 10 years now and you know that it is hard for a player to leave, but someone who is close to turning 30, and the Habs needing to rebuild the roster, it is tough to ask a player to commit to losing.
