Front-runner to TRADE for Jakob Chychrun is REVEALED
One of the biggest names available in the trade market this offseason has been Arizona Coyotes young star defenceman Jakob Chychrun.
A former 16th overall pick back in 2016, Chychrun was originally projected to be a top 10 pick, but a poor showing at the showcase game led to him falling in the draft.
He has been suffering on the poor Coyotes team for years now and this offseason he has expressed interest in being traded to a contender. He is only one season removed from a 18 goal 41 point performance, and he is definitely capable of more.
The Coyotes are asking for a lot in return for Chyrchrun, and this had led to a trade not being completed yet.
A few different insiders have given there thoughts on this storyline so far, and they believe that the Ottawa Senators are the front runners to land Chychrun.
According to Elliotte Friedman, the Coyotes are very interested in Shane Pinto from the Senators in return, but more will definitely be added.
