On this day, the Toronto Maple Leafs looking for a solid #1 goalie, traded the rights to Tukka Rask to the Boston Bruins for Andrew Raycroft.
Raycroft had won the Calder trophy as the leagues top rookie in the 2003-04 season, then after the lockout season, lost the starting job to Tim Thomas in the 2005-06 season.
After the trade he went on to play 2 seasons with the Maple Leafs, never recording a higher save percentage than .894 SV% and racking up 39 wins over 2 seasons, losing the starting job to Vesa Toskala during his second season.
Now with the Leafs having some goalie issues again years later, Raycroft has pipped in on Twitter to see where his support was when he was a Toronto Maple Leaf.

After seeing many goalies come and go in the Leafs organization, all seeming to have struggles, do you think its a goalie problem they have or an organization problem?
