A former player in the Ontario Hockey League is facing charges after an incident where someone swung and hit someone else with a golf club. Video of the incident was posted to Instagram by Ziregolf. It shows a man focefully hitting another with a golf club, while someone can be heard yelling 'I'm gonna f--kin' kill you'.
The Sault St. Marie Police Department says the person in the video swinging the club is Joel Sandie, who played in the OHL from 1990 to 1993. He suited up for the Kingston Frontenacs, Cornwall Royals, Sudbury Wolves, and the London Knights. After getting just 10 points in those three years, Sandie decided to leave hockey, and has since become a real estate agent in Ontario.
