Price Shares Feelings on Home Opener After Being Left Off Roster Announcement
The Montreal Canadiens had their home opener on Saturday, and as is tradition, announced the entire roster and coaching staff prior to the game. This year, fans were a little disappointed with the production, as the announcements seemed a little unorganized.
Even though Carey Price is still technically part of the Habs organization, he didn't receive an announcement during the opener. That was until he was shown on the jumbotron during a commercial break, to which fans went crazy.
Price was a fan of the moment, and took to X.com to share his thoughts.

Price Injury Is Keeping Him From Making a Return
Price hasn't played a game since leading Montreal to the Cup finals back in 2021. His knee injury is still keeping him off the ice, as he has confirmed he is unlikely to return to hockey this year. More signs are pointing to his eventual retirement from the game.
