Canucks owner sends out awkward tweet about the media
Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini sent out an awkward tweet tonight about Vancouver media. The tweet was as follows:
Gotta love media in Vancouver. Two weeks ago: "What's wrong with Aquilini? Why isn't he cleaning house? Can't he see it's a disaster? Why's he so slow to act?" Two weeks later: "Why's he moving so fast? Why's he cleaning house? Can't he see it's a bad look?" Kinda funny actually.
This tweet is starting to make Aquilini seem more and more like he's entering Eugene Melnyk territory and he appears to seek out media praise despite the Canucks struggles.
Aquilini has drawn criticism from fans on his management of the Canucks including his adding an Assistant GM to his hiring panel only to fire them days later.
The situation in Vancouver is still volatile despite the recent 3 game winning streak under new coach Bruce Boudreau.
