For years Johnny Gaudreau has been a fan favourite in Calgary and when he chose to leave on Wednesday, some people's feelings in Calgary were definitely hurt.
When a star player leaves, fans are always going to be upset, most will take to social media to vent their frustrations, but this newscaster decided to make his feelings known while on live television.
Andrew Brown is a broadcaster for CBC and he shared his hilarious comment which has been going viral:
And that's the news for now. I'll be back here at 11, unless a news station in Columbus offers me way less money. Then I'll probably go do that.
Gaudreau apparently turned down an 8 year deal from the Flames valued at $10.5 million per season, and instead chose to sign with the Columbus Blue Jackets for $9.5 million, and well, Flames fans are not taking it well.
