Buffalo Sabres Legend Broadcaster Passes Away At 81

Jeanneret embodied the Buffalo Sabres as an organization and he lent his voice to many of the best moments in Sabres history.

In his 51-year career with the Buffalo Sabres Jeanneret had some of the most iconic calls of any announcer. He brought life to moments and made fans care about the game of hockey whether they were Sabres fans or not. Here are some of his most iconic moments behind a microphone.

Jeanneret recently got inducted into the Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame and the Greater Buffalo Hall of Fame. His name will be in the rafters of the KeyBank Center for generations to come. RJ ushered in several generations of Sabres fans that will continue to love the game long after his passing because of the love he had for the game.
