The Boston Bruins may lose two crucial pieces in the off-season. The Winnipeg Jets could solve some of their problems.
Scheifele Could be a Fit in Boston
There are several problems plaguing the Bruins, one of which being cap space. If Patrice Bergeron and David Krecji opt to retire, they'll no longer have two centre's on bargain deals.
It is thus feeling more and more likely that they'll target a bargain centre - like
Mark Scheifele.
While it is unlikely they can replicate the success of their 2022-23 campaign, the Bruins still have a lot of good pieces. Adding Scheifele to the group, there could still be one more deep run in the cards for Boston.
