Earlier today, we learned that yet another tragedy has struck the hockey world.
Another Tragedy in Hockey: Two Children Pass Away
Two young players unfortunately passed away after a car accident.
13-year-old Maxim Lebedev and 12-year-old Artem Potapov, both players for Chaika HC, in Russia, are sadly no longer with us.
Here's the official announcement, as shared on X:
"The lives of Chaika HC 13-year-old forward Maxim Lebedev and 12-year-old defenseman Artem Potapov were tragically cut short today from a car accident. 🙏"
2023 has been a rough year for hockey fans. We're glad to see it ends soon.
