Breaking: San Jose Sharks Claim Defenseman Off Waivers
Every year during training camp, NHL teams must send players to the AHL through waivers.
In the last few days, many teams have done it, including the New York Rangers.
Unfortunately, one of them didn't clear waivers and is now a member of one of the worst teams in the league.

Emberson has never played in the NHL. The Arizona Coyotes drafted him in the third round of the 2018 draft and since then, he has played in the NCAA and the AHL.
He was traded to the Rangers last summer for Patrick Nemeth and a draft pick.
Now, the 23-year-old defenseman will look to make his NHL debut with the Sharks this year.
