The New York Islanders announced today that they have signed Pierre Engvall, Scott Mayfield and Ilya Sorokin to contract Extensions:

Lamoriello has just handed a gift to Pierre Engvalla 7 year contract worth $3 million per year
Another 7 year Contract, this time for Scott Mayfield
Lamoriello gave out a second 7 year deal of the day, this time to defenseman Scott Mayfield. The AAV is currently unknown.
An Actual Decent Signing as Isles Lock up Sorokin for 8 Years
Well, at least he did one thing right. Lamoriello locked up the teams starting goaltender Ilya Sorokin for the next foreseeable future, at a price of $8.25 million AAV. See the contract breakdown below:
