Pierre-Luc Dubois has been a controversial player for years now, and many have speculated that he has attitude problems. The former 3rd overall draft pick essentially forced his way out of Columbus, and it appears he is doing the same thing to Winnipeg now.
Dubois Won't Sign an Extension
According to NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, Dubois and his agent will not sign an extension with the Winnipeg Jets, even a 1-year qualifying offer.
"Our understanding is Pat Brisson has informed the Winnipeg Jets that his client isn't inclined to sign an extension this summer not even a one-year bridge, Pat Brisson would like to work with the Jets on a trade for Dubois to another team." - Pierre LeBrun.
It's long been rumored that Dubois wants to play for his hometown team, the Montreal Canadiens. Could this summer finally be his moment?
