BREAKING: Notorious Enforcer Blows His Final Chance To Stay In The NHL
One of the most hated enforcers in the NHL has blown his final chance at staying in the league.
Kassian Released By Ducks
It was just announced that the Anaheim Ducks have released forward Zack Kassian from his PTO.
We have made the following roster moves:
Assigned to @SDGullsAHL
Olen ZellwegerPlaced on Injured Reserve
Alex Killorn
Released from PTO
Zack Kassian
This is brutal news for Kassian who is one of the few players in the modern NHL who has made a career out of his physicality.
When Kassian is at his best, he can lay big hits and win fights.
Kassian has played 661 career games playing with the Sabres, Canucks, Oilers, and the Coyotes. Throughout this time, he has registered a whopping 913 PIMs.
If he cannot find another contract anywhere else before the season starts, Kassian is likely done for in the NHL.
