BREAKING: New York Rangers TRADE former first round pick to Western team
The New York Rangers have been blessed with good drafting these past few years, and also good trades.
They brought in star defenceman Adam Fox and Jacob Trouba, and with developing Braden Schneider taking the final spot on the right side, there was no room left for their 2018 first round pick Nils Lundkvist.
It was recently reported that Lundkvist was refusing to attend the New York Rangers camp and was demanding a trade, and well, it looks like it has finally come.

Nils Lundqvist to Dallas for top-10 protected 2023 first rounder. Confirmed. If it's top 10 pick rolls over to 2024 without restriction. Could be another component coming to NYR.— Larry Brooks (@NYP_Brooksie) September 19, 2022

Nils Lundkvist, reportedly traded to DAL, is a young offensive defencemen whose rookie results don't look nearly as bad once you adjust for the very poor linemates he was deployed next to. Ranked #38 on @EPRinkside's list of top prospects. #GoStars pic.twitter.com/lAkTYXB6jU— JFresh (@JFreshHockey) September 19, 2022
