An NHL team has taken a shot on Mike Babcock for the first time since he got fired back in 2019.
BREAKING: Mike Babcock Has Found a New NHL Job
Mike Babcock is a controversial figure in the NHL community. His coaching skills are undoubtedly in the upper echelon but as a person, he is not the most nurturing.
In 2019 he was fired for poor performance in Toronto on top of having a toxic work environment. This has prevented Babcock from finding an NHL job for the past nearly 4 years.
NHL insider Darren Drager shared which team will be taking a chance on Babcock:
The Blue Jackets need a spark plug given the talent they have and are looking to capitalize on the likes of Johnny Gaudreau and
Patrik Laine. They think Babcock is the key to becoming competitive once again.
