A major update has just come in the Pierre-Luc Dubois trade saga, and it could change everything we know about the trade process. More information is below!
Dubois Will Be Traded By The Draft
According to a new report by Raphaël Doucet, the Dubois trade process won't take long, and shouldn't go beyond the NHL Entry Draft.
Raphaël Doucet spoke to a well-informed source regarding the Dubois situation, and according to them, he should be traded soon, at the latest by the draft."
La Poche Bleue
While this seems surface-level at first, Doucet added some details to the report, and it's all starting to make a bit more sense.
"Dubois is starting to think long-term, about where he wants to raise his children, about what kind of city he wants to live in. And it's not Winnipeg."
It makes sense that Dubois would want to find a city where he can settle down and have a family. Many have speculated that the city he's aiming for is his hometown of Montreal and that Dubois would like to sign long-term with the Canadiens.
We should see within the next month where Dubois will be for the next part of his career.
