Jakub Voracek has joined Jaromir Jagr's Kladno team as an assistant coach
Jagr owns Kladno and is also the oldest player on the team at 51 years old. He has been playing in Czechia with Kladno for the past six years and will be continuing another year with Kladno this upcoming season.
Voracek is a 1000-game veteran in the NHL and played his final year last year. He played in 11 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets scoring only one goal and six points.
The two previously played together on the Flyers in 2011-12 where Jagr played on the first line with Claude Giroux and Danny Briere while Voracek was on the second line posting quietly strong numbers.
After Jagr departed from Philly, Voracek slotted in on the first line with Giroux and played with them for years.
With Voracek moving behind the bench and Jagr, who is 17 years older than him, still playing is a true testament to Jagr's endurance and true passion for the sport of hockey.
